Fort Lauderdale-based BTI Partners is renovating a vacant 890-room resort near Walt Disney World called the Grove Resort & Spa. The resort property, formerly known as Grand Palisades, was built on 110 acres at 15665 Grand Palisades Boulevard next to Lake Austin, but it never opened.
A previous developer with financial and legal problems suspended work on the development. Construction work has resumed since BTI Partners became one of the owners of the newly named Grove Resort & Spa, now scheduled to open December 1 with a mix of rental apartments and condo-hotel units.
