UPDATED June 6, 12 p.m.: An affiliate of Fort Lauderdale-based Orangetheory Fitness purchased a Boca Raton office building for $13.9 million and plans to convert the building to its corporate headquarters and a new gym.

A company connected to David Long, founder and chief executive officer of Orangetheory, purchased the three-story office building at 6000 Broken Sound Parkway in Boca Raton.

NAI’s Josh Rodstein and Brandon Weiss represented the buyer. Jeffrey Kelly, an executive vice president of CBRE, represented the seller, 5900 6000 Broken Sound Associates LLC.

The price for the 72,0000-square-foot building, was approximately $193 per square foot. It is located in the Arvida Park of Commerce near Military Trail and Clint Moore Road. [Daily Business Review] — Mike Seemuth
