In Miami, Colliers International South Florida moved from a 2,829-square-foot office at the Courvoisier Centre to a nearly 8,000-square-foot space at 801 Brickell. In Fort Lauderdale, the firm signed a 4,721-square-foot lease at 200 East Broward Boulevard where Colliers was recently tapped to handle office leasing for the building. And in Boca, it inked a new 2,079-square-foot office at 2385 Northwest Executive Center Drive.

In May, Colliers announced it had hired brokers Mika Mattingly and Gerard Yetming to lead the company’s new urban core division. Mattingly, previously with Sterling Equity Commercial, and Yetming, formerly with CBRE, are focusing on South Florida’s urban neighborhoods, starting with downtown Miami and Fort Lauderdale, as well as West Palm Beach. The company also recently brought on Jonathan Kingsley, Stephen Rutchik, Jack Lowell and in August of last year, Ken Krasnow joined as executive managing director.

“Part of our growth strategy consists of building a collaborative and collegial team with an enterprising spirit that has the depth and experience necessary to enable clients to succeed in South Florida’s competitive real estate market,” Krasnow said in a press release. “Many of us have worked in the region for decades, and we have the institutional knowledge and relationships that allow us to create opportunities for investors, end-users, landlords and tenants.” – Katherine Kallergis
