The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Miami-Dade County’s condo market closed out September with a bang. Sales volume last week was the highest it’s been since late June, and every one of the county’s top 10 priciest deals broke the $1 million price barrier.

Leading the pack was Continuum South Tower’s unit 1004, a southwest corner unit with views of Government Cut and the ocean in South Beach. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit and its modern finishes fetched $5.05 million after spending exactly a year on the market with Sandra Gross of Gross International Realty. The sale breaks down to a whopping $2,203 per square foot.

Following that deal was the $2.7 million sale of unit 904 at the Ocean Club Tower II building in Key Biscayne, which was on the market for 230 days with Douglas Kinsley of Fortune International Realty before closing. The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom condo has two terraces and views of both the ocean and Biscayne Bay. Its purchase price equates to $1,080 per square foot.

And the third-priciest sale belonged to Diego Arnaud of DA Luxury Realty, who sold unit 2103 at the Porto Vita North Tower in Aventura for $2.51 million, or $741 per square foot. The flow-through unit overlooks the ocean and has hardwood floors, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half-bath.

After those top three sales, the rest of Miami-Dade’s top 10 condo deals ranged between $2.33 million and $1.07 million.
