Elandis opens the first Hyatt Place hotel in Brazil

Elandis, an international real estate investment group, opened the first Hyatt Place hotel in Brazil, the first in a series of hotel developments that Elandis and Hyatt are planning.

Elandis developed the new 10-story, 152-room hotel in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, in a joint venture the company formed in 2014 with an affiliate of Hyatt.

São José do Rio Preto is financial, medical and educational center that draws travelers from southern Brazil and other parts of the country.

Located in a mixed-use property that includes a popular shopping center, the new Hyatt Place features 4,000 square feet of meeting space, a lobby lounge, restaurant and business center, plus a fitness center on the top floor with a swimming pool and deck area.

Elandis has offices in Miami, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Madrid and Panama City. Its portfolio of commercial, hospitality and residential property includes 5.8 million square feet of developed space and space under development.
