The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Top 10 sales ranged from over $550K to $4M

The first full week of August was a rough one for Miami condo sales.

A total of 97 condos sold for $36 million in Miami-Dade County last week, a steep decline from 162 closings for $62 million the previous week. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $374,000 or $304 per square foot.

Developers Edgardo and Ana Cristina Defortuna of Fortune International Group sold one of the few remaining units at Jade Signature last week, marking the most expensive condo sale. Unit 2605, a 3,312-square-foot, four-bedroom unit sold for $4 million, or about $1,200 per square foot. Sandra Chartouni represented the developer, while Elizabeth Garcia brought the buyer.

The second priciest sale was for a penthouse at 1 Hotel & Homes. After 97 days on the market, penthouse 1604 sold for $3.65 million, or about $1,700 per square foot. Tracy Galya brokered the deal.
