Nirka Burns Padilla was promoted to director of sales at 57 Ocean

UPDATED, Jan. 20, 1:18 p.m.: Martin Conroy joined Douglas Elliman from William Raveis Real Estate. The Palm Beach agent had more than $45 million in total sales volume last year, according to a spokesperson for Elliman.

Nirka Burns Padilla was promoted to sales director for 57 Ocean, Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management’s luxury condo project at 5775 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. Fortune Development Sales is handling sales. The 18-story, 71-unit building is starting to go vertical and is expected to be completed in September 2021. Burns Padilla was previously with One Sotheby’s International Realty, where she worked on projects that included The Fairchild Coconut Grove and One Thousand Museum.

At Housing Trust Group, Laura Rodriguez was named executive vice president of property management and Debbie McCoy was named vice president of property management. Both are based in Miami and will be responsible for management and operation of Housing Trust Group’s portfolio of apartments in Florida, Georgia, Texas and Arizona.

Bercow Radell Fernandez & Larkin, a boutique law firm specializing in land use, zoning and environmental law, promoted Melissa Tapanes Llahues to name partner status, changing the company’s name to Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin & Tapanes. The law firm also announced that it was moving to larger office space on the third floor of its current building, the Southeast Financial Center at 200 South Biscayne Boulevard in Miami. Associate attorney Carli M. Koshal was promoted to a partner of the firm.

Centennial Bank’s Miami-Dade County Market President J.C. de Ona was promoted to Southeast Florida division president of the Conway, Arkansas-based bank.

Aly Abraham, Kayla Beharrie, Monica Camarena Gallardo, Sandra Campbell, Roberto Ledesma-Dorand, Cobus Louw, Vladimir Prince, Deborah Tordella, and Lauren Vadiveloo joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty International’s Las Olas office at 1700 East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

State Street Realty promoted Brian Cabielles to senior associate. Cabielles has worked on State Street Realty’s commercial advisory team, which includes the firm’s president George Pino, Ed Lyden and Frank Trelles, for five years.

Lee & Associates South Florida hired Cliff Weisner as principal. Weisner will focus on retail investment sales and leasing throughout South Florida. He was previously a senior associate with Tiktin Real Estate Investment Services.

Bambi Ross joined One Sotheby’s International Realty as a broker associate working on sales of Royal Palm Residences in Boca Raton. Ross has closed more than $100 million in sales volume over her career, which began in 2008.

David Eggnatz, Nicole Fontaine and Eric Spritz were promoted to senior directors at Katz & Associates’ Boca Raton office.

Central Civil Construction promoted Henry Camasta to senior project manager. Camasta, who’s been with the construction firm for 11 years, was previously a project manager. He’s worked on major construction projects in South Florida and the Dominican Republic.

Ben Jacobs joined Douglas Elliman. Jacobs is part of The Chestler Jacobs Team with Jessica Chestler, who is based in New York. Both joined Elliman from Core Real Estate, which said it is expanding to South Florida. Jacobs will split his time between New York and Florida.
