Fisher Island closing tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales 

Top 10 sales ranged from $1.9M to $8.9M

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week, with a Fisher Island closing netting the top price.

Brokers closed 172 condo sales totaling $130 million from March 25th to April 1st. The previous week, brokers closed 137 condo sales totaling $109 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average price of $754,193, lower than the $793,404 sale price average from the previous week. The average price per square foot continued falling — this time to $562 from $599, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.9 million to $8.9 million. 

Bayview unit 5224 at 5224 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach took the top spot with the $8.9 million closing. It’s the only sale to exceed $5 million in price. The sale closed at $2,500 per square foot after 169 days on the market. Don Pingaro with Ocean Insiders had the listing. Karla Abaunza with Luxury Living Realty represented the agent. 

One Ocean unit 308 at 1 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach closed for the second highest amount, $3.9 million, or $1,291 per square foot. Oren Alexander and Isaac Lustgarten with Official had the listing, and Jaclyn Bild with Douglas Elliman represented the buyer. The sale closed after 193 days on the market.
