57 Ocean penthouse tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales 

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and dollar volume slid last week, compared to the week prior, while the price per square foot rose.

Brokers closed 135 condo sales totaling $141 million from April 8th to April 15th. The previous week, brokers closed 172 condo sales totaling $157 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average price of $1,044,934, higher than the $912,680 average from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $611 from $574, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $3 million to $25 million. 

Oceanfront penthouses led the way.

A penthouse at 57 Ocean snatched last week’s place for the priciest sale. Unit PH-2 at 5775 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach took the top spot with a $25 million closing after 161 days on the market. The sale closed at $3,869 per square foot. Dina Goldentayer with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Christopher Jude with PGutman represented the buyer.

A penthouse at Oceana Key Biscayne, at 350 Ocean Drive in Key Biscayne, closed for the second highest amount at $8.3 million. Elliot Lee and Lina Barcelo, both with Douglas Elliman, had the listing for unit PH-2. Ana Yeager with Compass Florida represented the buyer. The sale closed after 170 days on the market at $2,464 per square foot.
