Health insurer takes up half of four-story building at corporate park in Sunrise

Cigna’s health care and life insurance subsidiary is staying in Sunrise

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company renewed its 47,900-square-foot lease of two full floors at the Sawgrass Corporate Centre II building at 1571 Sawgrass Corporate Parkway, according to a news release from the landlords’ brokers. 

Greg Martin was part of the Avison Young team that represented the landlords. CBRE represented the tenant. 

Chicago-based Vanderbilt Office Properties and Naples, Florida-based Barron Collier Companies own the four-story, 91,200-square-foot Sawgrass Corporate Centre II building. The pair paid $20.8 million for the property in 2019, records show. The building is within Sawgrass International Corporate Park.

Gucci opened a boutique in Dadeland Mall

The luxury fashion brand’s 6,000-square-foot store features handbags and accessories, including items from the Gucci Valigeria collection, according to the tenant’s news release. 

Simon Property Group owns Dadeland Mall at 7535 Southwest 88th Street in the Kendall neighborhood of unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Simon Property is led by David Simon.
