Broward County’s condo sales, dollar volume and price per square foot rose last week.
Brokers closed 111 condo sales totaling $33.5 million from Oct. 13th to Oct. 20th. The previous week, brokers closed 70 condo sales totaling $20.6 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $302,175, higher than the $294,649 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $276 from $253, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $575,000 to $1.7 million.
Unit 505 at Sabbia Beach, at 730 North Ocean Boulevard in Pompano Beach, took the top spot with a $1.7 million closing after 131 days on the market. Daniel Mahaney with RealLook had the listing. The sale closed at $940 per square foot.
Unit 1701 at 100 Las Olas, at 100 East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $1.6 million or $678 per square foot. Peter Barkin and Johnny Ramirez with Compass Florida had the listing. Adriana Resendez with Coldwell Banker Realty represented the buyer. The sale closed after 67 days on the market.
