A 92nd floor condo in the building formerly known as the John Hancock Center on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile is hitting the market.
The four-bedroom condo at 175 East Delaware Place has an asking price of $9.5 million for purchase, or to rent at around $50,000 per month. At 7,700 square-feet, the condo would run a prospective buyer about $1,234 per square foot. The seller is Scott Kluth, the founder of Coupon Cabin, an early internet coupon deal aggregator, according to Cook County public records cited by Crain’s.
Kluth was also a fixture on the Bravo television series Real Housewives of New York City in an on again, off again relationship with Tinsley Mortimer, according to the outlet. Mortimer’s late father, George Riley Mercer Jr., was the principal of the Richmond, Virginia-based real estate investment firm George-Marshall Corporation, among other ventures.
If the condo is sold, it will earn top marks as the highest figure condo sale for Chicago in 2026. The condo also reaches the highest elevation a person can reside in the city.
The condo features a 360 degree view of the city skyline, Lake Michigan, and beyond, according to Redfin. It also has five full bathrooms, two half baths, a theater room and walk-in closets. According to the outlet, there is a 61-bottle wine vault, and a waterfall wall installed in the dining room.
Kluth purchased the full condo in two portions, for a total of around $2.93 million, according to the publication. Carrie McCormick of Christie’s International Real Estate has the listing, according to Redfin.
Mag Mile is finally rebounding from a pandemic-stricken market that saw its retail space value plummet. Data from Kirsch Agency shows that retail vacancy finally stopped dropping in 2025. Iconic venue Water Tower Place is getting a $170 million face lift from owner MetLife, and Hearn has plans to pivot parts of the former John Hancock Center into a 400,000-square-foot Marriott International hotel.
