Despite security concerns raised by federal judges in Fort Lauderdale, a two-tower mixed-use complex will be built next to the federal courthouse there, after city commissioners agreed to approve the project Tuesday night. Groupe Pacific will be developing the complex at 111 East Broward Boulevard, which will include a 30-story tower, containing a 230-room hotel, and a 24-story tower, containing 280,000 square feet of office space.
