Official approval appears closer for Destiny, the planned 41,300-acre green community in southern Osceola County. The project’s planner, the Land Company of Osceola County LLC, told the Orlando Business Journal that it expects the Osceola County Commission to submit a comprehensive amendment to its original plans to the state by the end of October, signaling the start of Destiny’s entitlement process. The community’s developers, Anthony Pugliese III of Delray Beach and Subway restaurant founder Fred DeLuca, expect it to hold 40,000 homes.
