Sonesta to run Hollo project

Sonesta International Hotels will run developer Tibor Hollo’s
planned downtown Miami hotel project. The chairman of Florida East
Coast Realty is scheduled to announce plans next week for the Sonesta
Mikado Hotel & Residences, next to the new Opera Tower condominium
complex in the 1700 block of North Bayshore Drive. The 252-room hotel
is slated to open in 2011. Hollo said 120 suites could be rented to
guests or sold as condominiums. Sonesta, a Boston company, owns a hotel
in Coconut Grove and plans to run one in Sunny Isles Beach.
