Prospective buyers camped out overnight to get a chance to purchase a
unit at GL Homes’ Valencia Reserve community. Interest in the
1,061-unit active-adult development at Lyons Road and Boynton Beach
Boulevard in Boynton drew so many people that after the sales center
opened at 9:30 Saturday morning, the hot dog vendor sold 1,900 dogs by
2 p.m. GL Division President Marcie DePlaza said 15 buyers, many from
outside the region, had signed sales contracts by early Saturday afternoon.
