Real estate bust should yield litigation boom

The real estate market collapse has spawned a crop of lawsuits, and it will keep growing. Abbey Kaplan, a partner in Kluger Kaplan Silverman Katzen & Levine in Miami, said he’s been traveling north in pursuit of payment in a long-running suit by Florida developer Downtown Associates against New Jersey investor Eli Weinstein and his related companies.
