As bankrupt builder WCI Communities reorganizes, a judge has approved funds for homeowners affected by tainted drywall imported from China. Residents of developments such as the Parkland Golf & Country Club will now be able to pursue claims through trustee Robert Pate, appointed to the position by Judge Kevin Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. WCI will provide $900,000 as seed money for the legal claims.
