After the much-publicized hug between Tiger Woods and his mother,
Kultida, following his apology for infidelity on Friday, Tiger
Woods is building her a mansion in Palm Beach County near Jupiter. The new home will be right across the Intracoastal Waterway from his own soon-to-be sprawling, 9,000-square-foot structure. Woods purchased two adjacent lots for his mother’s place for $2.4 million in 2007, and now plans to spend $2.6 million to build on them. Wood’s own Jupiter Island nest is going up atop four adjacent lots cleared specific for the project. He purchased them in 2006 for $44.5 million, a record for Martin County.
