Bankruptcy possible for Filling Station Lofts in Miami

According to an involuntary Chapter 7 petition in bankruptcy court in
Miami, Filling Station Lofts, a company in Miami’s arts district, owes
sums totaling nearly $700,000 to four creditors, including Biscayne
Construction Company, Gulf Plumbing, B & R Engineering and Budget
Construction Company. The partially-completed property was the
defendant in a foreclosure action in Aug. 2009 filed by Versa Capital.
The property is a 100-unit, 17-story building at 1650 N.E. Miami Court.
