Shake Shack Miami Beach makes its debut

Shake Shack, the popular New York City burger, hot dog and frozen custard joint, is set to open today at 1111 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. The chain, owned by famed restaurateur Danny Meyer and his Union Square Hospitality Group, has seen the debut of multiple new branches recently, but the Miami Beach outpost is Meyer’s first venture outside New York. The new location was designed by SITE Environmental Design’s Denise Lee and James Wines, who used recycled and sustainable materials to build out the spot. [SFBJ]
