Vanilla Ice
Robert Van Winkle, known as Vanilla Ice, is starting his new reality
house flipping series Oct. 14 at 9 P.M. on the DIY Network. The “Vanilla
Ice Project” watches Van Winkle renovate and then attempt to sell homes
in the Wellington area of Palm Beach County. The show will focus on the
renovation of a 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom house. The Real Deal first caught up with
Vanilla Ice to
talk about the show, and his career as a real estate developer back

WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL VANILLA ICE THAT HE’S NOT IN “PALM BEACH” BUT IN WELLINGTON. IT CRACKS ME UP THAT SOME PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO PURPORT TO BE INVOLVED IN FLORIDA REAL ESTATE, DON’T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “PALM BEACH” (WHICH IS THE ISLAND EAST OF WEST PALM BEACH) AND “PALM BEACH COUNTY.” I KNOW IT SOUNDS GOOD TO SAY “PALM BEACH” BUT IT’S JUST NOT ACCURATE IN THIS CASE!
