Delray Square in foreclosure

The Delray Square 1 shopping center in Delray Beach is in a foreclosure
action, two months after its sister shopping center, Delray Square 2, was
hit with a similar lawsuit. The action was filed in Miami-Dade County
but will be transferred to Palm Beach County. The 115,538-square-foot
center sits on 12.3 acres and is located at 4823 West Atlantic Avenue.
Tenants include Publix, Delray Square Cinemas, CiCi’s Pizza and Mackinac
Savings Bank. It was purchased in 2007 for $13 million, although
renovations that began in 2009 are still unfinished. [SFBJ]
