Judges want more evidence in foreclosures

Despite a court rule that requires evidence to be attached to affidavits
in foreclosure cases, thousands of homes in Palm Beach County have been
repossessed by lenders that did not follow this rule. Now, Palm Beach
County judges say they want more evidence in uncontested foreclosure
cases. Palm Beach County Chief Judge Peter Blanc said banks will increasingly have to prove their claims with sworn statements or certified
supporting paperwork. [Palm
