Two Broward County office parks — Hillsboro Executive Center and Commercial Place — have been targeted for foreclosure. The largest of the loans was a $27.5 million note from 2007 on Hillsboro
Executive Center North, which covers the park located at 800 Fairway
Drive in Deerfield Beach. Hillsboro is listed as having 340,055 square
feet, with just 173,241 leasable. The loan on Commercial Place is $26
million, although the note was not set for maturity until 2012.
Commercial Place is a two-building complex at 3230 Commercial Boulevard
in Oakland Park with tenants including Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Florida. [SFBJ]
