Stern sues lenders for breach of contract

March 21, 2011 12:44PM

Fallen foreclosure king David Stern has fired back at the lenders that dropped his services after the Florida attorney general’s office launched a probe into his law firm’s foreclosure practices with eight lawsuits in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Stern, whose firm has since announced that it will shutter in the wake of its lost clients, has filed around $15 million worth of claims against eight lenders: GMAC Mortgage, U.S. Bank, MetLife Bank, Space Coast Credit Union, Chase Home Finance, Ocwen Loan Servicing, Nationstar Mortgage and PNC Bank. Stern alleges in his complaint against GMAC that the company entered into a breach of contract when it cut ties with his firm, and owes him $6 million as a result. [SFBJ]

This guy is a gangster! His firm tried to railroad a foreclosure down my throat by falsifying service and other docs. Luckily, I was saved by a sharp judge who saw beyond the rhetoric and slammed Stern’s team, denying the fraudulent forelcosure action. Justice was served, few days after, he lost his conract! Thank God!

Now David Stern is on the other side of table. Hopefully he understands the saying, what goes around comes around. I hope his loss is as great as everyone he ignored and charged excessively!

Impanel a Federal Grand Jury, indict under RICO for Fraud.
Then again DOJ, FBI, or FL Atty Gen Pam Bondi won’t do anything because he is a ABA Bar buddy.

He was indeed the king of resl estate, his office dominated the market and it was extermely difficult to get in touch with his staff for any file updates. Just like the Real Estate, what goes up, must come down.

I was title examiner with Professional Title. I was told that I should not think like a title examiner. The production requirements doomed quality work. In reaching for huge commercial success, quality was sacrificed for quantity.
