Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office has reached a
settlement agreement with foreclosure attorney Marshall Watson and his
firm. The settlement follows an eight-month probe into the firm. The
terms of the settlement include a $2 million fine, along with new
foreclosure processes. The AG’s office will receive half
of the fine, with the attorney general’s Mortgage Foreclosure Grant Fund
receiving the other half. According to the agreement, Watson’s firm
admits no wrongdoing. [Sun
