Related entity invests in Gemstone Hotels

An entity from Related Group has invested in Gemstone Hotels &
Resorts, a Utah-based hotel management and investment company. The
entity is RSR Hospitality, which is comprised of Related, River Birch
Capital, and Silverpeak Real Estate Group. “As investors, the
organizations comprising RSR hospitality have been involved in the
acquisition, financing or management of over $25 million of real
estate,” said Gemstone principal Thomas Prins in a statement. “Our new
structure allows us to invest directly or with others in order to
acquire hotels, and subsequently operate them using Gemstone’s unique
