A specialty contractor and his team of 15 craftsmen are building luxury playhouses for children that can cost upwards of $20,000 for a single, predesigned unit and $100,000 or more for a super-custom unit. The contractor builds 100 to 200 of these playhouses each year in a variety of themes, from castles to Victorian-style homes.
