New barbecue joint opening in SoBe

Hogzilla’s Inspired Barbecue, a self-described “redneck chic” eatery,
will be opening its doors in South Beach this weekend, helmed by
barbecue expert Ron Garcia of Burger & Beer Joint and SushiSamba.
The restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine will be Eli Jackson, with a menu
featuring everything from grilled alligator sausage to smoked duck
breast. Hogzilla’s will be located on Washington Avenue in the former
home of Bar-B-Que Beach.  [Eater]
