Aldi will build $50M Royal Palm Beach warehouse

Supermarket Aldi has officially announced plans to build a $50 million distribution center in Royal Palm Beach, two months after being approved for a $1.7 million tax break over seven years, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Since the tax break was approved, the grocer purchased 70 acres flanked by Royal Palm Beach High School and Regal Royal Palm Beach Stadium 18 along State Road 7 for $14 million. Construction should be starting “in the near future,” according to Aldi. The offices and warehouse will employ about 90 people with health coverage and benefits.
