Two firms accused of foreclosure deception

Florida’s Attorney General has obtained a temporary injunction against MGD Management and CRS Marketing, charging that the two foreclosure firms misled foreclosed and distressed homeowners, according to the Sun Sentinel. “These companies preyed on Florida’s distressed homeowners who were already experiencing financial hardships,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi, who filed a lawsuit against the two firms. “The laws that protect Floridians from deceptive practices must be abided by, and I am pleased that the court granted our motion to stop these companies from defrauding Floridians.” Bondi also obtained a limited freeze on assets of the two firms.
