The 67-story Marquis Residences condominium in downtown Miami has received a “highly commended” award from the International Property Awards in the high-rise residential development category. Marquis and Los Angeles’ Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. Live each received that rating, while the Aqua at Lakeshore East in Chicago and One Bloor by Great Gulf in Canada received five-star ratings. The awards are given by a panel of 60 professionals. “It is a true honor for Marquis Residences to be recognized as one of the nation’s foremost residential high-rise developments,” said Tamir Kazaz, CEO of project developer Africa Israel USA. Marquis is located at 1100 Biscayne Boulevard.  — Alexander Britell
