A buyer from New York city has purchased South Beach’s Traymore Hotel for $17.5 million, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The hotel, which is now closed, is located at 2445 Collins Avenue. The seller was SR South Beach One, which is an affiliate of SteelRock Capital, a New York-based private equity firm, which seized the property in foreclosure. The buyer was Delaware-registered Como Traymore. [SFBJ]
