Boca Raton’s Caldwell Theatre in foreclosure

The Caldwell Theatre in Boca Raton is in foreclosure, following a lawsuit by lender Legacy Bank of Florida, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The 29,917-square-foot facility is located at 7901 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton. The suit concerned a $5.95 million mortgage from 2007 that was later divided into two notes in 2011. Attorney Michael Moskowitz, who is representing Legacy Bank, said the loan had been a “perpetual problem.” [SFBJ]
