Palm Beach home sales jump by 10 percent

The sales volume of single-family homes and condominiums/co-ops in the town of Palm Beach rose by $73.98 million in 2011, a 10.86 percent jump from 2010, according to The Evans Report by Leslie Robert Evans & Associates. The total volume of sales in Palm Beach was $754.9 million in 2011, according to the report. “In an otherwise weak national economy, the total dollars sales volume of single-family homes and condos/co-ops was in excess of three-quarters of a billion dollars in the year 2011,” said Evans, an attorney in Palm Beach and managing partner of Leslie Robert Evans & Associates.
