Coral Springs developer plans Islamorada eco-lodge

Coral Springs developer Bert Vortsman has proposed a new eco-lodge in Islamorada in the Florida Keys, the Sun Sentinel reported. The project, which would be located on 7.5 acres owned by Vortsman near Mile Marker 83, would have 60 rooms. The plan went before the Village of Islamorada yesterday. Vortsman has commissioned Fort Lauderdale design firm EDSA to envision the project, which would include solar power. [Sun Sentinel]
