Tavor Holdings, the owner of the Bonaventure Country Club in Weston, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The petition was signed by manager Mordechai Boaziz, who declared that the company owed between $1 million and $10 million. “Our intention is to restructure our arrangements with creditors and maximize the value of the property for future sale,” said Craig Pugatch, Tavor’s attorney. The company had signaled its intention to sell half of its golf course to an unnamed bidder in August. The property was in foreclosure at the time. [SFBJ]
