Miami senior community completes $9 million rehabilitation project

The Claude Pepper Towers, an affordable housing complex for senior citizens, is set to re-open after completing a $9 million rehabilitation project. The project, which is located at 2359 NW 54th Street in the Brownsville neighborhood of Miami, underwent a 15-month rehabilitation. Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corporation is the developer of the project, which includes 150 one-bedroom units for low and very low-income elderly residents. The grand re-opening is set for May 8. — Alexander Britell
