Morgan’s reopens as Georgia’s Union

Favorite South Beach brunch spot Morgan’s is renaming itself Georgia’s Union, after owner Barclay Graebner’s daughter, Eater reported. The restaurant, which also has a Wynwood location, revealed its intentions to reopen as an organic soul food spot after renovations started earlier this month. Part of the change was spurred by the need to distance Graebner’s restaurant from Joe Allen’s, the former tenant. “We never quite escaped [the] former Joe Allen’s vibe,” Graebner said. “The answer became very clear, we need to start fresh and that is where we came up with the concept.” [Eater]
