West Palm Beach’s First Baptist Church sells Chapel by the Lake for $23 million

A group of developers has paid $23 million for the Chapel by the Lake property in West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach Post reported. The property, which is owned by the First Baptist Church, is envisioned as a mixed-use condominium and office property on Flagler Drive. The church intends to use the money for renovations. “We want there to be a sense of the spectacular,” said Kevin Mahoney, associate pastor at the church.
