Developer plans waterfront condo project on Fort Lauderdale Beach

The Grand Birch tower is the latest condominium project to be proposed in South Florida, according to a report from Condo Vultures. The 11-story project, which is being proposed for the Fort Lauderdale Beach waterfront, is the 57th tower planned in the newest condo boom in the region. “The downtown Fort Lauderdale and Beach coastal market is increasingly on the radar of residential developers who are considering new condo projects in South Florida,” said Peter Zalewski, founder of brokerage and consultancy Condo Vultures. “This newly proposed project shows that developers are willing to start pushing north into Fort Lauderdale with new condo construction.” — Alexander Britell
