VooDoo BBQ heads to Kendall

Cajun-Creole fusion restaurant VooDoo BBQ & Grill is heading to Kendall, following the signing of a 2,500-square-foot lease at 8326 Mills Drive. The new space, which is located in the Palms at Town & Country shopping center, will seat 85. Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2013 with a planned March 2013 opening. The company has purchased development rights for 26 locations in Florida, with locations on the way in Pembroke Pines, Delray Beach, Kendall and Fort Lauderdale. — Alexander Britell
