Florida-based commercial real estate firm Stiles has formed a “strategic partnership” with Charlotte-based Levine Properties to develop real estate in the Carolinas, the companies announced today. The joint collaborations will focus on commercial and residential properties, with a primary aim to develop grocery-anchored retail centers. “We are excited about the potential opportunities that exist in North Carolina, especially in the retail, office and multi-family segments,” said Terry Stiles, CEO of Stiles. The first project will be Ballantyne Town Center, a Publix-anchored center that is set to open in early 2014. It is Publix’s first entry into the greater Charlotte area. Stiles has offices in Miami, Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando. — Alexander Britell
