Broward County townhome and condo prices rise 25.4 percent: report

The median sales price of a single-family home in Broward County rose 10.2 percent in September compared to the same month in 2011, according to new data released by the Greater Fort Laudedale Realtors. The median selling price rose to 205,000 from $186,000, while the average selling price jumped 11.6 percent to $263,333 from $236,062. Townhome and condominium sales also saw a boost, with a 25.4 percent increase in median selling prices and a 13 percent rise in average selling prices. Pending sales jumped 35.2 percent for single-family homes and 27 percent for townhome-condos. — Alexander Britell
