Tampa multi-family community sells for $10.8M

The Palms at Brandon multi-family community in Brandon has sold for $10.83 million, according to HFF, which brokered the deal. The 184-unit property, which is located near Tampa, lies on 11.6 acres near the Westfield Town Center. It was purchased by an affiliate of TRIPOINTE Property Group, an Ohio-based investment group from a private seller. The price represented an average of $59,000 per unit. HFF’s Matt Mitchell, Janet Turkell and Maurice Habif led the transaction on behalf of the seller. Steven Soclof, CEO of TRIPOINTE, negotiated the deal on behalf of the buyer. — Alexander Britell
