Carl’s Furniture in Coconut Creek sells for $12.7M

The 400,000-square-foot Carl’s Furniture location in Coconut Creek has been sold for $12.7 million, according to Miami-based ComReal, which handled the transaction. The mixed-use property is located at 6810 State Road 7. It includes 80,000 square feet of retail space, 50,000 square feet of office space and 270,000 square feet of warehouse space. The buyer was Coconut Fields, a limited liability company based in Parkland. The seller was 559 North Federal Associates. Ron Winokur of ComReal and Susan Baker of Worldwide Realty brokered the deal. Carl’s Furniture will continue to operate at the building.  — Alexander Britell
