The Miami Beach plastic surgeon married to “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein has filed a lawsuit with the city over the 88-year-old Star Island mansion that was the center of a landmarking controversy earlier this year, the Miami Herald reported.

Leonard Hochstein, referred to as the “Boob God” on the Bravo TV reality show, claimed the city code illegally allowed a preservation non-profit group to request that his home be designated a historic property. He said the application for such designation is delaying his ability to acquire permits to build a new home.

In the suit, Hochstein also argues his constitutional rights have been violated.

“The lawsuit is without merit and will be vigorously defended and ultimately dismissed,” city attorney Jose Smith told the Herald.

The Hochsteins bought the home last year in a foreclosure auction, and got the O.K. earlier this month to tear it down to build a new, bigger home with a five-car garage. As it stands, the 1925 home is built in a “railroad” format, with no hallways between bedrooms, the Herald previously reported. [Miami Herald] –TRD
