As “The Great Gatsby” plays in theaters nationwide, a 28,700-square-foot house inspired by the novel has returned to the market – at an 11.5 percent price cut, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom home known as Palazzo di Mare is asking $19 million. It was built in 2001 and can be found on 5 acres in Vero Beach. The listing describes a property that features 32-foot ceilings, 14-car garage and a swimming pool with 14-carat gold inlays, a sound-proofed movie theater, a limestone fireplace and a wood-beamed library. William P.D. Pierce of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate has the listing, the newspaper said.

The owner is Sharon Nicholson, the widow of the founder of a service that helps grocery stores track their inventory. She bought the property in 1994 for $650,000, according to public records seen by the Journal.

She tried to sell in an auction with a listed price of $33.5 million in 2007. The next year, it began hitting the market sporadically, the report said. [WSJ]Mark Maurer
