Brickell World Plaza has reached 50 percent occupancy after Miami law firm Gunster said it would take over an entire floor in the office tower, according to Jones Lang Lasalle’s Glenn H. Gregory and Noel Steinfeld, who represented the developer, Foram Group, in the transaction.
The 12-year lease is for 21,355 square feet, slightly less than the firm had at One Biscayne Tower, but the open floor plan and new buildout should allow the law firm to organize more efficiently, Chairman George Lemieux said.
“This move continues to position us as one of Florida’s preeminent law firms and will further help us to grow and recruit talented attorneys to Gunster,” H. William Perry, Gunster’s managing shareholder, said in a release.
